Shreyas Gopal is a seasoned leg-spinning all-rounder whose career has been built on substance rather than noise. Born in Bengaluru in 1993, he became a pillar of Karnataka cricket, claiming 280+ first-class wickets while also scoring nearly 4,000 red-ball runs, including six centuries.
In the IPL, he is best remembered for his 2019 hat-trick for Rajasthan Royals against Royal Challengers Bangalore, dismissing Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, and Marcus Stoinis in one over. Now part of Chennai Super Kings, Gopal brings control, experience, and lower-order batting depth, positioning himself as a strong spin option heading into IPL 2026.
