Young Ayush Mhatre continues to define new boundaries in his cricketing career. After a successful outing as the captain of India’s U19 team in England, he has been named as the captain of Mumbai for the Buchi Babu tournament.
This is a new feather in his hat, in his short career so far. Having captained India at the U19 level abroad, he will now be a part of a team that will have senior players as well.
The Mumbai team, being captained by Mhatre, will include the likes of Khan brothers: Sarfaraz and Mueen. Furthermore, there will be players like Suved Parker, who is named as the deputy of Mhatre, and two all-rounders, Sairaj Patil and Aakash Parkar.
