Speaking at a Junior CSK event in Chennai, Viswanathan shared insights into the team’s plans, stating, “We are planning for a camp somewhere by the first week of March. The IPL season is likely to start by the 22nd of March. So, we will have our first camp by the first week in Chennai.”
The recent IPL 2024 Auction saw CSK strategically acquiring six new players, including the dynamic Kiwi duo of Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell. With the seasoned India all-rounder Shardul Thakur, secured for Rs. 4 crore, and the promising 20-year-old batter from Uttar Pradesh, Sameer Rizvi, fetching an impressive Rs. 8.40 crore, CSK has added depth and versatility to their squad.
