Conway-Milne Help Texas Super Kings Secure 3-Run Win in A Nail-Biter Vs MI New York

TSK vs MINY, MLC 2025, Highlight: The 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC) season is already full of amazing games, and the second match was a total nail-biter! In a clash between two teams whose ‘sister’ franchises have a storied IPL rivalry, the Texas Super Kings (TSK) clinched a sensational three-run victory over MI New York (MINY) in a game packed with dramatic twists and turns.

MI New York led to a shaky start while chasing 186 runs. They lost three wickets very quickly, including their captain Nicholas Pooran. But Monank Patel stayed strong, and even though it was tough early on, he started hitting the ball well and got a half-century (50 runs). Bracewell gave him great support, and these two put together a strong partnership of 97 runs, bringing MI New York right back into the game.

But just when things started looking good for them, Adam Milne and Daryl Mitchell turned the game around for TSK. Milne was fantastic, picking up his third wicket by getting Bracewell out. But the real game-changer came when Mitchell was involved in two amazing run-outs on back-to-back balls! First, he got the dangerous Kieron Pollard out, and then, immediately after, he got Monank Patel run out too! Those were incredible moments that swung the game in TSK’s favor.

Even after that, Trent Boult and Tajinder Dhillon tried to keep MI New York’s hopes alive with some late hits, but they just couldn’t get them over the line. TSK needed them to fall short by nine runs in the final over, and Mitchell bowled cleverly to make sure that happened.

TSK vs MINY, MLC 2025, Highlight: Conway-Savage Help Super Kings Reach 180+ Mark

Earlier in the game, TSK were asked to bat first, and TSK finished with a strong score of 185 for 6. Devon Conway was our anchor, playing a solid innings of 65 runs off 44 balls. But the real hero of our batting was Calvin Savage, who was eventually named Player of the Match! He smashed an unbeaten 53 runs off just 34 balls in the final overs, which really boosted our total. Until Savage’s fireworks, MI New York’s bowlers had mostly kept things under control, with Michael Bracewell taking two important wickets.

Brief Scores: Texas Super Kings 185/6 in 20 overs (Devon Conway 65, Calvin Savage 53*; Michael Bracewell 2-34) beat MI New York 182/8 in 20 overs (Monank Patel 62; Adam Milne 3-22) by 3 runs.
