Devon’s much-glamorized IPL debut came in the IPL 2022 session, and as they say, the rest is history in the making. CSK purchased Devon Conway for a whopping 1 crore INR, and every penny spent on the superstar was worth it.
At IPL 14, Devon played 7 matches for CSK, hammering 252 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 147. He also hit 22 boundaries and 12 sixes in the tournament, making him one of the most explosive T20 batters for the Dhoni-led CSK team.

The star batter suffers a left thumb injury while keeping wicket for his side. Immediately after the injury, he was seen rushing to team physio and leaving the ground. The news has just come in that the injury wasn’t so simple or normal. The southpaw will have to undergo several scans to determine the severity of the injury. As of now, he has been ruled out of the ongoing Australia-New Zealand T20I series.
