Faf du Plessis feels fortunate to share dressing room with MS Dhoni
Faf du Plessis in a recent interview expressed gratitude as he feels unfortunate to play under MS Dhoni as a young guy during his initial day of his IPL career.
Speaking to media at SA20, Du Plessis said:
“Firstly, it was great to be part of that dressing room as a young guy. Probably my biggest learning curve was being fortunate enough to be there under Stephen Fleming and MS Dhoni really at the start of my initial journey.”
Praising one of the greatest leaders of the sport, Du Plessis said:
“Also, by playing under some great leaders, you also get to understand that it’s really important to do things that work for you. It’s not possible to copy different styles all the time. MS is Captain Cool, as they call him. He is always very calm under pressure.”
JSK will play their fourth game against Paarl Royals at Boland Park on Wednesday, January 17. The team will look to secure their first win of the season.
