MS Dhoni, a former captain of India, watched Carlos Alcaraz overcome Alexander Zverev on Wednesday to advance to the US Open 2023 semifinals.
Since helping Chennai Super Kings win their sixth IPL championship a few months ago, Dhoni has been absent from the cricket field and is frequently pictured having fun.
Dhoni was spotted watching the World No. 1 play Zverev in the US Open quarterfinals on Wednesday.
Alcaraz, a 19-year-old Spanish prodigy, defeated Zverev in the match on a Wednesday by a score of 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. This victory was particularly significant since it allowed Alcaraz to advance to the 2023’s final big tournament’s semifinals.

Having led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth Indian Premier League championship earlier this year, Dhoni, on the other hand, is relishing his time away from the game.
Dhoni went from being a ticket taker at a train station to becoming India’s foremost trophy aficionado by captaining the team to the ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC ODI World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy 2013. Unquestionably, MS Dhoni is among the best captains in the history of cricket.
The fact that Dhoni is not active on social media is bad news for the followers of the wicketkeeper-batter because of how popular he is. His followers must rely on viral videos and images to catch a glimpse of the player because he rarely updates the platform.
In August 2020, Dhoni ended his career in international cricket. He did, though, continue to play in the Indian Premier League.
His involvement in the IPL for the following year is still unknown, though.
