In a significant development for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2024, popular Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is reportedly set to join the fan-favorite franchise, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), as its brand ambassador. This move is anticipated to further elevate the already substantial brand value of the defending champions, who are led by the legendary MS Dhoni.

The team’s overseas acquisitions during the mini-auction held in December included Daryl Mitchell, Rachin Ravindra, and Mustafizur Rahman, while Shardul Thakur, Sameer Rizvi, and Avanish Rao Aravelly bolstered the Indian contingent.

CSK’s success in the previous edition of IPL, held in 2023, was fueled by the dynamic partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. Their memorable 141-run stand against the Delhi Capitals showcased their ability to dominate even the most formidable bowling attacks, establishing them as a force to be reckoned with.

The middle order of the defending champions is laden with firepower, featuring stalwarts like MS Dhoni, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and Ajinkya Rahane.
