Dhoni choosing the team over himself
According to a report from a famous daily newspaper Indian Express, it is stated that Dhoni had recovered completely. Dhoni was seen practicing with the squad after the first two weeks of the season when he had to take rest and miss the initial matches. It is stated that he cleared all the fitness tests and was also seen in the CSK camp but didn’t make it to the playing 11. Not only Chennai fans, everyone who has been waiting eagerly for his return is still in surprise whether he will play in this season or not.
Daily newspaper Indian Express stated that since the team had found the right combinations and are also moving with right momentum, Dhoni wouldn’t want to disrupt it. Losing the first 3 games, Chennai slowly turned the momentum and are now winning matches continuously. They are now at 5th position in the points table. Out of 11 matches, CSK won 6 of them with 12 points in the table. Chennai is also in the play off race and every player is performing excellently both in batting and bowling.
Will Dhoni make it to the playing eleven or not is still a big doubt in the minds of fans. For the upcoming match against LSG, it is said that Dhoni travelled with the team to Lucknow.
