International Career of Ravindra Jadeja

His strong showing in the 2008–09 Ranji Trophy, where he amassed 42 wickets and 739 runs, caught the attention of national selectors. He made his international debut in the final match of the ODI series against Sri Lanka on February 8, 2009, scoring an unbeaten 60 runs.
